The main objective of my therapies is to welcome patients through their mother tongue. The therapist-patient bond is established in a special way when patients realize they are understood in what they say, think, and feel. When patients feel safer and more welcomed, they consequently show better motivation, directly impacting their therapeutic prognosis.

About Me
Tatiana Cooke Munkes
30+ years of experience in multilingual therapy and education
I am a multilingual speech language therapist recognized by the health department authorities of the state of Hamburg, Germany. I have 30 years of professional experience acquired in Brazil, England, Switzerland, USA and Germany, as a speech therapist and psychopedagogist. I offer assessment, therapy and counseling in Portuguese, German and English for bilingual and multilingual families.
I have two children that I have been educating together with my husband in these three languages for more than 20 years. The opportunity to live in several countries expanded our understanding of the true meaning of integration into society respecting its linguistic and sociocultural aspects.
